Look up “must-try restaurants in Subic” in Google and you’ll find several lists that include the Meat Plus Cafe. A meat lover’s paradise, the restaurant is an institution in the area, having been around for almost three decades (it’s been there since 1993!).
Over the years, the Meat Plus Cafe has helped put Subic Bay on the radar of foodies who are always on the lookout for the best dining destinations in town or even the random tourists who happen to be in the area. If you frequent the Subic Bay Freeport, you’ve been here at some point in the last 30 years.

The distinction as one of the best restos in Subic Bay is spot-on and much deserved. Ideal for big groups, Meat Plus Cafe’s bestsellers include the Tenderloin Steak Meal, the US BBQ Short Ribs, and the Oven Roasted Beef Belly.
But there’s more than meat in this popular American dining resto. They also serve salads, salmon in special tomato salsa, and their awesome potato skins.

The Meat Plus Cafe is one of the two restaurants that participants in the Subic Bay leg of NLEX’s Lakbay Norte visited recently. Lakbay Norte is one of the ways NLEX puts the spotlight on some of the most exciting destinations travelers can visit just by driving through its world-class expressways.
A much newer (but equally awesome) dining destination is the Tree Points Bistro, a restaurant and sports bar that serves delicious and affordable food items.

Aside from the food, Tree Points Bistro stands out aesthetically, primarily because of the huge tree incorporated in its interiors, where the resto got its name. Tree Points Bistro’s interior design takes after modern industrial elements.
Instagram-ready, the resto features a warm ambiance, led by its friendly and courteous crew. Among the must-try food items include the roasted pork belly and the All-In Pizza. Cap everything off with a serving of hot Cappuccino.
